Name:
Sanet 'San' O'Malley
Age:
19
Gender:
Female
Race:
Human
Side:
Military
Official Name:
None, but calls herself 'The Feral Alchemist', to the dismay of her superiors
Rank:
Second Lieutenant
Headquarters:
Central{Changable}
Alchemy:
Copy-Cat: Sanet is known to manipulate the automail on her back and hands to imitate defensive and offensive adaptations of different animals. For instance, she might produce wings or spikes from the automail on her back, or create claws from her automail hands.
Beast: Sanet also can change any readily available substance, i.e.: stone, dirt, wood, into the shape of any beast. She can keep this 'beast' moving continually by constantly changing the position of the substance at great speed, thus moving it forward quickly. This puts a great amount of strain on Sanet alchemically, often draining her of most of her power. She is still able to stand and fight physically when this is done, but she is unable to complete all but the simplest alchemical tasks until she rests.
Animal Armour: A combination of Copy-Cat and Beast, where Sanet forms a material around her in the shape of a beast so that she is not only better protected and much more intimidating, but she is considerably stronger. This has less strain than Sanet's 'Beast', but once she finishes, the strain on her muscles often causes her to collapse.
Abilities:
Sanet was once a street criminal of great expertise. Through this, she became superior at her marksmenship and her knife-fighting. She is incredibly limber and is almost cat-like in her agility. Her long legs have gifted her with uncanny speed. She could beat most humans in a race, but when it comes to chimeras and the like, she isn't faster. She is often compared to felines in the way she fights. Fierce as a Tiger, Strong as a Lion, Fast as a Cheetah, Crazy as a Cat.
Weapons:
Two Caracal-F Semi-Automatic Pistols, Two KA-BARs and her automail hands and back.

Physical Descriptions:
San is rather tall for a girl, standing at 5' 9". She is slender but wiry. Secretly, she delights in her slim figure. She has rather long but graceful legs, which are capable of carrying her at very fast speeds, but are often the complaint of anyone walking with her, as she walks at a speed uncharacteristic of a casual stroll.
Her face is often adorned with a pleasant smile, though this becomes a manic grin during battle, which is accentuated by the fang-like canines she filed down years ago. Her eyes are a tuquoise-grey, and are never adorned with any trace of make-up, as she is strictly against any use of cosmetics like lipstick, blush, mascara and eye shadow. Her hair is golden in hue, and when let down, it falls to about her shoulders. It curls out slightly at the ends, but more often than not she keeps it tied in a bun of sorts, as most military regulations are even more strictly held against her because of her past 'occupation'.
Both her back and hands are made of automail. Her hands and the skin on her back were subjected to extreme burns in a housefire. Almost all the nerves in her hands were destroyed, so they were amputated and replaced by automail. The skin on her back would have been replaced with skin grafts, but due to her experimental nature, she had automail replace it instead.
Sanet has loathed skirts and dresses most of her life, but consents to wear them when 'on duty.' She wears flesh-colored covers over her automail hands, over which she wears 'borrowed' Alchemist gloves, which have the fingers torn off. As soon as her superiors look the other way, she's back in jeans and a tee shirts, and runs along barefoot like a child.
Personality:
Sanet is many things. Ever proud. Very intelligent. Often carefree, occasionally violent, always playful. Though she's part pure-blooded killer, she often seems as childish and youthful as a kitten, though she is a legal adult. If offended, however, she becomes, almost comically so, violent. She is rebellious, fierce and spunky, with a be-fanged smile that is equal parts haughty and pleasant. One would not peg her as smart, but she's rather clever when you get to know her. She is always loyal to friends, as well as protective. She may seem a little crazy, as well, but in a 'good way.'
Sanet seems to have a complex against a few things. One is girls, especially girly girls or motherly girls. She has a loathing for her own mother, because she blames her for not telling her where her father has gone. Her other complex is against crying. If she cries, she is filled with a self-loathing. This is because her mother cried a lot. She came to resent it.
Sanet is a tomboy in the extreme, and rarely acknowledges the existance of other females around her. There are many days where she'll quietly walk about outside alone. She always seems to be in deep contemplation. Sometimes, a sketchbook or novel will accompany her, but more often than not, she'll simply stare off at the trees, no one with her except Ari, who understands to be respectfully quiet during these times.
Sanet loves fighting and sparring. During a practice, she'll simply smirk happily. When she is in a real fight, her pupils shrink, so that they almost look like cat eyes, and her mouth stretches in an insane grin. It's actually rather frightening. If she gets badly hurt, however, the smile disappears, and she becomes enraged, going all out to secure her victory.
On a final note, Sanet is amazing at checkers. If you are to ask her to play, she'll ask you to bet money. Once you shake hands with her, you might as well give her the money. She'll beat you.
Background:
Sanet was born on December 21, the longest night of the year. She started being homeschooled by her father when she was young, as her father wished to ensure his daughter would be well-educated in both academic studies and alchemy. Sanet adored her father, while she ignored her mother. They lived in a small rural town, where her father worked as a doctor. Their neighbors, the Browns, lived about a half-mile down a dusty road. The son, Martin, was sent every morning to be schooled with Sanet. The two became best friends. When Martin and San were seven, both of Martin's parents died by some mysterious disease that Sanet's father could not cure. Collin was devastated by this, and adopted Martin as his son, perhaps to make up for the death of Mr. and Mrs. Brown. The years that followed went on without mishap.
The night before Sanet's eleventh birthday, however, something terrible happened. The O'Malley house caught fire. Sanet fled outside. Her mother and father were already there. Her father was on his knees, looking stricken. But she couldn't see Martin. Despite her mother's pleas, Sanet ran back into the burning house. She raced into Martin's room. Martin was trapped beneath a fallen rafter. She managed to, somehow, pull him out from beneath the debris, though to do it she had to plunge her hands into the fire. She couldn't awaken Martin, so she lifted him into her arms. Martin had always been smaller than her. She carried him out, slowed by his weight, however. She refused to drop the still body, despite the flames that licked at her back. Once outside, she collapsed, but remained concious. Her wrists and forearms burned, but she couldn't feel her hands or back. Despite her heroic effort, she soon discovered that Martin was already dead. Her father remained silent for the next three days. He disappeared after Martin's funeral.
With no home in the town, San and her mother moved to Central City, against the young girl's wishes. The young girl was depressed for eleven months after the disaster. It was then she became angry and rebellious. She joined what would be technically called 'an organized crime group', though the gang was as unorganized as San's room(which was very messy indeed). San helped it to pull together a little bit more, and soon the gang, which was mainly comprised of teens such as herself, became well-trained for conflicts with rival gangs and police alike, as well as skilled at robberies.
San had ascended the ladder gracefully for four years. She was fifteen. It was when she was walking along down the sidewalk with a rich man's golden watch that she was caught. She, however, demonstrated superior alchemy skills in the fight that ensued. Instead of being jailed, she was made to join the military. Though she was there for her alchemical skills, she was denied the title of State Alchemist as part of her punishment. Her superiors were always on the look-out for some sort of violation. It's a miracle that she became a Second Lieutenant.
Three months ago, she was sent on a job that was 'below her rank'. She had to work in conjunction with police, which she loathed. She asissted in the arrest of a man who was breeding exotic animals in his home. She was allowed to keep a three-month-old lion cub, whom she named Ari. The cub had been separated from his mother too early, but San kept it nursing on a bottle since then. It was just recently weaned. Ari enjoys perching himself on San's shoulder, though San knows soon he'll be too big. He accompanies San everywhere, and is surprisingly well-behaved for an animal.
